On Apr 2nd 2022, FNCv3 has been added to diagnostics.
On Apr 5th 2022, The V4 dataset was released. The latest and greatest dataset has 1191 features and targets for all of history. See the new data set files HERE. If you're not sure where to start, take a look at the example-scripts repository. Otherwise you can download data directly from the API using numerapi

Staking on TC will be enabled when round 311 opens on April 9. Staking on TC is only available for Numerai Classic Tournament users (Signals TC staking is TBD). Users will be able to optionally stake at 0.5x, 1x and 2x TC multipliers, as well as 0x CORR multiplier if desired. Staking on MMC will be disabled starting with round 311 - any prior MMC multiplier settings will be ignored.

$NMR- Another Pop and Drop
On Apr 30th 2022 there was some massive volume coupled with a quick rise in NMR value to around $32 USD. Support did not hold the price and it quickly moved its way back down to $24 again…

[Community Release] : Classics tournament reporting including TC
On Apr 16th 2022, participant qeintelligence launched a new and updated classics tournament dashboard. According to qeintelligence,
I updated the dashboard, page(s) ‘Ranking’ ,‘Round Performance’ and ‘Payout’ to the new TC/FncV3 metrics.

Council of Elders-The First Year in Review
On Apr 22nd, the CoE released a forum post reviewing the CoE’s first year and goals for 2022-2023. Here are the details.
On Mar 22nd 2021 Richard Tweeted:
“I’m going to make a DAO called the Numerai Council of Elders which will be a multisig
wallet controlled by elite members of the Numerai Community. Numerai will give it initial $$
but have no role whatsoever in where that $$ goes.”
Between Mar and July of 2021, the CoE was formed with members arbitrage, jrb, jrAi,
hb, themicon, uuazed and suajp. 100k USD in NMR was sent to the multisig. hb in Dec 2021
voluntarily stepped down and I volunteered as a replacement.
The past year been pretty amazing. Here is a list of what has been accomplished so far:
Reimbursements were sent for multisig wallet setup and gas costs.
A proposal by hb for a Kashi Lending/Borrowing Tutorial was taken up by jorijnsmit
A proposal by restrading was submitted for something many people inside and outside the tournament has asked for continuously over Numerai’s existance… A Numerai Community Marketplace for the buying and selling of models and prediction files. This became Numerbay.ai
A proposal by jorijnsmit was created and funded to submit a portion of NMR from the multisig for Kashi/Sushiswap liquidity. 200 sent for “cook” on 06/27/21 and 50
returned back to fund projects on 07/21/21User liz was sent initial funding for supporting signals submission development in R and streamed everything live on Twitch. liz will also be working on the github to create
more example models in R.A proposal for starting a CoE sponsored monthly newsletter by Aventurine was approved and initial funding sent

Community Reviews for Small Retroactive bounties: OF_S for code contributions to help R users download data and submit on V3 massive dataset, NMR/USD script for main Numerai Site, Payment’s dashboard and A True Contribution Backtest (High Quality Data Science post)
Numerbay has especially come a long way since day one. Currently, 245 products are available for sale. There have also been 348 total sales with volume at almost 1k NMR (960NMR) currently worth >25k USD.
Of the 2,779 NMR (100k USD) received last year, only 1177 NMR (33k USD) was left before another 8,653(250k USD) was sent recently for CoE expansion efforts.
We have some great ideas and goals for year 2 with the new funding just received. More information to start dropping soon! Here is a couple to start off:

Pay more retroactive bounties for “High Quality Data Science Posts”. Members can write these types of articles in the forums and be paid a fixed amount of NMR higher at the

This will include the continuing of the weekly twitter spaces, quarterly face to face meets with slido questions around the fireside chats…and more.

[Announcement] New Uniswap v3 pool for DEX traders
In a dazzling feat of coordination, planning, and execution the CoE has created a new pool on Uniswap v3 for DEX traders.

Great question and answer in RocketChat.
“I haven’t been following all the swaps. Is there any documentation to the risks of adding liquidity to Uniswap v3? Can you get liquidated as a liquidity provider? What is the reward you get for providing liquidity?”
Answer by Aventurine:
No you cannot get liquidated on uni V3. In Uniswap v3, LP’s can concentrate their capital within custom price ranges, providing greater amounts of liquidity at desired prices. We set our price range fairly high. Whereas Uniswap v2 required all users to provide liquidity across the entire price curve from 0 to infinity, Uniswap v3 allows LP’s to optionally concentrate capital in the price range they believe will generate the highest return. There is an issue we identified on v3 at the 0.3% fee range so we opted for now to use the higher 1% fee best for more exotic pairs that are particularly subject to monotonic price movements(pair correlation issues with high volatility swings) We are currently researching a fix for the 0.3% fee and possibly move the liquidity over later(0.3% fee range is best for most pairs and can handle pretty large price swings as well) If the price goes outside of the LP position price range, then the position will be singularly concentrated in the less valuable asset. While the price remains outside of the price range, the position will be “inactive”. This means the position will not earn fees until if and when the price comes back in range. We currently plan to leave fees on the contract with most likely use of rolling more liquidly back in or for more CoE proposal uses(nothing set in stone)
Is NMR Decorrelated from other Crypto Assets? A small study
On Apr 25th 2022, Richard asked on Rocketchat if someone from the community could conduct a small study on the correlations of $NMR to other crypto assets. I placed a small correlation matrix study in the forums to try and answer the question.
The conclusion over a longer 1 year time period was $NMR, while correlated to many other DATA crypto tokens, does have lower correlation to BTC and ETH of 51% and 32% respectively. It also has a large noticeable negative correlation to the S&P 500.
